Cardo Headset – Warranty Terms & Exclusions (New Zealand)
Unless otherwise stated in writing, the Cardo headset warranty covers manufacturing defects only. The warranty does not cover damage arising from external causes, misuse, or normal wear and tear.
Without limitation, the warranty will be void where any of the following is identified:

Water or liquid damage, including rain ingress, submersion, or internal moisture

Saltwater exposure, perspiration (sweat), or chemical corrosion
-
Physical damage caused by impact, dropping, crushing, or improper handling
-
Damage caused by incorrect installation, modification, or unauthorized repair
-
Use of non-approved chargers, cables, power supplies, or incorrect voltage
-
Normal wear and tear, including battery capacity reduction over time
-
Operation outside the manufacturer’s recommended conditions
-
Evidence of tampering, misuse, neglect, or accidental damage
-
Triggered liquid/moisture indicators inside the device
-
Headsets and microphones not fitted with appropriate padded protection during use, storage, or transport
Headsets and microphones must be kept properly protected with suitable padding at all times to prevent physical and environmental damage.
All products submitted for warranty will undergo physical inspection and testing by ABD and/or the manufacturer. Where the product is found to be outside warranty, assessment fees, repair charges, replacement costs, and freight may apply.
